Why should racism end Donald?

Hi CJ,

Here are three reasons why I feel racism should end:

1. Equality: A person's ability to succeed should not be based on the amount of pigment in their skin or the continent or country from which he/she originates.

2. Innovation: With as many needs as humankind currently has, shouldn't we be using every resource available to us? The greatest resource we have is the mind. Every day we waste intelligence and innovation because we turn our back on people, just because they are different. How sad for all of us.

3. Competition: You want to get better at anything? Unleash competition. It is a driving force in humans. You want to win? Dig deeper in your grades, art, sports or business. If you want to make yourself better, then compete against everyone. That means no one gets excluded

Why should racism end Robert Nibbs?

Three reasons why racism should end:

1. Racism is built on a concept of fear, hatred and ignorance and absolutely no one benefits.

2. If you believe that people make the world go round and are committed to happiness, love and peace, then racism never fits into the equation.

3. Racism diminishes our potential for greatness.

Why should racism end Brad?

CJ,

Racism serves no purpose and is absolutely wrong. Racism offers nothing but pain, resentment, anger and distrust. Unfortunately, you cannot simply end racism. There is no way to ONLY be “non-racist” in the same way that there is no way to make a room “un-dark.” Just like racism, darkness is the absence of something; not the addition or existence of anything. To illuminate a room you must add light and to eliminate racism you must add respect. Share the light of life by respecting others and you will help develop respect-FULL people. Be a positive force of change by replacing racism with respect.

Good morning Coach CJ,

Here's why I think racism should end:

1. Racism should end in order to bolster the economy of the United States so that America can regain its position as a prominent world leader.

2. Ending racism will improve the quality of life for generations to come.

3. Ending racism would be a major step for America to atone for slavery and all of the things that came from it, like Jim Crow Laws.

Why should racism end Crystal?

Dear CJ,

I surveyed my staff and clients, and these were the top three answers on why racism should end. Ultimately, the question everyone was asking is, 'Why does racism exist anyway?'.

Racism should end because...

1. It's not of GOD!!!

2. It's pure ignorance to hate someone because of the color of their skin.

3. It's 2015 and the world is too diverse for this type of primitive foolishness. Now that we know better, we should do better.

Why should racism end Susan?

Hi CJ,

Racism is a system of oppression which treats people as more or less privileged based on the color of their skin.

I don't believe in this system.

I don't believe in oppressing anyone, much less a whole group of people for centuries.

Why is my skin color considered more favorable than yours?

I don't accept that this inherited system is immutable.

I want to live an anti-racist life.

I want to inhabit a world where people value each human life.

If we talk openly about racism, we can stop oppressing each other, and we can end it.

Why should racism end John?

CJ,

This is a tough one for me, because the reasons that racism should end are too numerous to count....

Here is part of the issue -- there is a line in one of Yoko's favorite movies -- it says, essentially this, "the greatest trick that the devil has ever played is convincing the world that he doesn't exist." Imagine that, there are some people who actually believe that racism no longer exists, thus it is impossible to talk with these people about why it should end. Anyway, here are my three reasons why racism should end:

1) Racism should end because any effort/system to sort humanity on a basis for which humans have no control is arbitrary and contrary to any natural law that suggests we all originate from the same source(s).

2) Racism has persisted through many generations, the current form of this prejudice is only related to and not identical with its form of origin; proof that ignorance is as adaptable as intelligence.

3) Racism should end because I need whoever has the cure for cancer, or the reasoning that indisputably rationalizes world peace to stand up and be heard no matter what his or her skin color is.
